Benefits of traveling alone

Some students studying in a language school are there as a couple, but most have traveled by themselves. While it can feel more comfortable to study together with a partner or friend, it's very rewarding to embark on an adventure by yourself.

Getting out of your comfort zone, and pushing yourself to explore new things without anyone by your side can help you to evolve as a person. By being in a new country alone, it can sometimes be easier to meet new people and make new friends as you may want to interact with others even more.

When traveling by yourself, you also have the benefit of planning and choosing what you want to do without having to consider anyone else. The length of your trip, what accommodation to chose and what to plan after school just to name a few example

Not having someone close to you can seem scary at first in a foreign country, but rest assured that you will learn so much. The staff and teachers at all schools are there to support you and you will make friends with other students who are in the same situation as you in no time.

If you have never traveled alone, why not give it a go? You will be forced to not speak your mother tongue and thus your language skills will improve faster.

We suggest that you at least consider solo traveling before booking your language course, but if you decide to have someone with you, then you'll share some special moments with your soulmate or good friend.

No matter what you choose, always remember to have fun, explore, learn and bring back memories to remember forever.
