A short post about the situation in Ukraine

We at The Language Union are appalled by the war in Ukraine and stands strongly for peace and unity. Our hearts are not only with the Ukrainians having to endure these horrific events, but also with Russians who have to go through the consequences of this pointless war.

Instead of focusing on languages today, we would like to share a few reliable websites for anyone who wishes to donate anything they can to help innocent civilians and refugees.

The picture is taken during our latest trip to Kyiv in 2018. A beautiful city with great people who deserves so much more. We wholeheartedly hope to return sooner rather than later when hopefully peace is restored.
