​Bordeaux:

This lovely city located in the south of France is a culinary lovers paradise. Many visitors are attracted to the countless good restaurants and wine tasting tours that is in the area. It is also a prime destination for anyone interested in history. Bordeaux is in fact one of the oldest cities in France which is evident by the fantastic historical architecture. The Miroir d’eau which translates to Water Fountain is perhaps the city’s most iconic spot and can be found in the center of the city.

 

If you are a foodie or a history buff, then Bordeaux is the place for you.

 

​Lyon:

Lyon is known as the gastronomical capital of France, and this won’t surprise you when you look at the number of restaurants found there. The city has more eateries than any other French city per capita and can boast of 20 Michelin-starred restaurants. It is also one of the most popular destinations in France to study, with around 150.000 students living there due to its quality schools and universities. Roughly 10% of Lyon, or 427 hectares are designated as UNESCO World Heritage sites so don’t be surprised if you fall in love with the renaissance buildings while wandering down the streets of this beautiful city.

 

Lyon may be the third largest city in France, but the population is only around 500.000 so it is a great option for someone who wants to study in a bigger city, but at the same time avoid the busyness of Paris.

​Nice:

Nice, The capital of the French Riviera welcomes over 4 million tourists per year and is the second most visited city in France after Paris. This is mainly because of the beautiful beaches and year round warm climate – Nice has in fact around 300 days of sun per year.

A must do in when visiting this Mediterranean city is to take a nice walk through La Promenade des Anglais (The English Walk) which is a 7 kilometer long coastal boulevard with amazing views of the sea. Also make sure to try the famous dish called Ratatouille, a famous French vegetable stew originating from Nice.

Paris:

Paris, also known locally as Paname due to Parisians wearing  “Panama hats” in the early 20th century, is the capital of France and one of the most visited cities in the world. This comes as no surprise when you consider everything that it has to offer. Visit the cities famous monuments such as the Eiffel Tower, Louvre, Notre-Dame, and shop till you drop in Les Champs-Elysees. Be also sure to visit one of their many museums/galleries and sit down at a traditional café Parisian to have a macaron.
